This engaging and highly interactive course is intended for officers new to SWAT operations or uniformed officers interested in advancing their tactical skills. A wide range of SWAT/tactical related topics will be covered with an emphasis on "mastering the basics". Students will receive classroom instruction and practical applications through scenario based learning. Topics covered will be: search warrants (start to finish), vehicle/bus assaults, hostage rescue, barricaded subjects, covert movement, room entries and clearing techniques, live fire for pistol/rifle, downed officer rescues, breaching and ballistic shield.
