West District Blotter

Meet the West PD Team

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be introducing you to the newest members of the West PD Team.  If you happen to see them out and about in the district, please introduce yourself and welcome them to the West District. 

 

PO Sydney Hanick

Officer Hanick joined MPD and entered the Pre-Service Academy in May of 2018.  She is a graduate of UW-Whitewater with a Bachelors of Science in Criminology and a  minor in Sociology.  Officer Hanick moved to Madison from Menomonee Falls, Wi.  She is assigned to the West District as a third detail relief car and is supervised by Sgt. Matt Baker.  As a relief car, PO Hanick will have the opportunity to work throughout the city.
