October 2, 2019 4:07 PM

West CPT conducted a traffic safety initiative today focusing on speeding, red signal and stop sign violations in the areas of Gammon Rd, Schroeder Rd and Raymond Rd.

The team issued 11 citations for red signal violation, speeding, operating after suspension and driving without a license.  One driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant for an earlier driving violation.

In addition to the citations, the team issued 19 warnings for speeding, not carrying a driver's license, improper display of registration, no proof of insurance and expired registration.

The high speed for the day was 48 mph in a 30 mph zone on Schroeder Rd.  This ticket amount is $124.00 and 4 points.

Thank you to West CPT and TEST Officer Boldebuck for their commitment to traffic safety in the West District.

Please continue to drive safely.
