How to Apply for a Langdon Street High Density Vending License
Street Vendor License (required for each vendor)
Business Tax Registration:
If you do not have one already, you must create an account on the Licenses & Permits portal to fill out the application.
Please note that you must obtain a City of Madison Street Vendor License,before you can apply for the High Density License.
Once you login to your account go to the Licenses/Registrations section, select Apply for a License/Registration and then choose Vending - High Density.
Complete the High Density Vending License Application
Submit an insurance certificate (General liability insurance at a minimum of one million dollars, naming City of Madison as Additional Insured). Go to Insurance Requirements.
- Site Assignment: Sites are assigned by current consecutive chronological seniority based on the date licensed.
- Bus Stop: A bus stop may be in use for a portion of the late summer/autumn beginning in the early evening. Vendors must adjust as needed to Madison Metro bus schedules.
