Odana Hills Golf Course
This popular west side 18-hole regulation golf course is a test to golfers of all abilities and levels. The par-72 course is one of the most popular in the state and hosts several city tournaments each year. The scenic landscape and convenient location off of the Beltline Highway challenges golfers from throughout the Midwest. The expansive clubhouse offers a lounge, locker rooms, pro shop and great food service. A large putting green and driving range compliment the facility.

Meet the Pros
Ryan Brinza, PGA Madison Parks Head Golf Professional (West)
Ryan Brinza is the PGA Head Golf Professional for the City of Madison West Golf Courses: Odana Hills and Glenway. Ryan began playing golf at the age of 5 with his father at Vitense Golfland, just down the road from Odana Hills. At the age of 14, he started working at Door Creek to pay for a new set of golf clubs and worked in a variety of areas ultimately landing as a pro shop attendant. After college, Ryan entered the PGA Professional Golf Management Program and took a job as the Assistant Golf Professional at Odana Hills Golf Course. After five years, he became the First Assistant Golf Professional at Odana Hills and finished his PGA education in December of 2013. Ryan became a PGA Certified Professional in the field of Golf Operations and started as a Head Golf Professional at the beginning of the 2014 season. Matt Huenink Assistant Golf Professional, Odana Hills Golf Course
Matt Huenink grew up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and spent much of his time playing various sports. He lived just a few blocks from the local golf course and began working there at age 14. He continued working there for six years and golf became one of his favorite sports. Matt has been working for City of Madison Parks at Odana Hills Golf Course since 2013, starting as a clubhouse attendant and was eventually promoted to Assistant Golf Professional in 2016. He is looking forward to teaching and growing the game of golf in Madison. When Matt is not at the course, he enjoys fishing and reading.
Kayleigh McHugh, PGA Associate Golf Instructor, Change Golf Instruction / Assistant Golf Professional, Odana Hills Golf Course
Kayleigh McHugh grew up in Sylvania, Ohio and began golfing with her father at the age of four. She played in her first competitive golf tournament when she was 12, and began working at the Claire Batista Golf Academy two years later. Kayleigh has six years experience running both junior and adult clinics and coached the Highland Meadows Junior PGA team for two years. Kayleigh was two-time Northwest Ohio Girls Golf League's player of the year during her High School career, which lead her to a collegiate golf scholarship. She graduated from Walsh University in 2019 and is pursuing her PGA Teaching Professional Certificate. Kayleigh looks forward to growing her career as a Golf Professional, and enhancing the junior and adult programs at Odana Hills.

In compliance with the Emergency SAFER AT HOME Order by Governor Tony Evers, through guidance from Public Health Madison & Dane County, the City of Madison Parks Division has the following update: All City of Madison Golf Courses are closed through 8:00 am, Friday, April 24, 2020, or until a superseding order is issued. As a reminder:
- Walking is allowed. Please maintain social distancing from those not in your household, this includes parks staff.
- Dogs are not allowed (on or off-leash).
- Playing golf is not permitted
- Please allow staff to continue maintaining the courses
