Reopened in 2022, The Glen Golf Park is a unique mixed-use outdoor recreation golf park. Through the ongoing partnership with the Madison Parks Foundation, along with the shared vision and generous financial and in-kind contributions of many community members, the golf park offers a dynamic blend of programmed activities and as well as a redesigned 9-hole golf course, suitable for first-timers and long-time golfers alike.

Meet the Pros
Ryan Brinza, PGA Madison Parks Head Golf Professional (West)
Ryan Brinza is the PGA Head Golf Professional for the City of Madison West Golf Courses: Odana Hills and The Glen Golf Park. Ryan began playing golf at the age of 5 with his father at Vitense Golfland, just down the road from Odana Hills. At the age of 14, he started working at Door Creek to pay for a new set of golf clubs and worked in a variety of areas ultimately landing as a pro shop attendant. After college, Ryan entered the PGA Professional Golf Management Program and took a job as the Assistant Golf Professional at Odana Hills Golf Course. After five years, he became the First Assistant Golf Professional at Odana Hills and finished his PGA education in December of 2013. Ryan became a PGA Certified Professional in the field of Golf Operations and started as a Head Golf Professional at the beginning of the 2014 season. Theran Steindl Golf Operations Supervisor (East)
Theran is the Golf Operations Supervisor for City of Madison East Golf Courses: Yahara Hills and Monona. He is graduate of San Diego Golf Academy in Myrtle Beach, SC where he earned a degree in Business and Facility Management. Theran has worked in the golf business since 2004 at various location and positions. Before working with Golf Madison Parks he worked as the Head Professional at Glen Erin Golf Club and Head Professional / General Manager at Towne Country Club. Theran has been involved with extensive golf instruction from beginner to Division 1 college golfers alike and played competitively for many years. With training in instruction with Natural Golf he is able to help golfers with disabilities and special needs by utilizing their specific strengths to optimize their games. In his off time from golf he enjoys playing competitive hockey and watching his beloved Badgers.

Odana Hills Golf Course will be OPEN with all 18 holes available for walking only, Tuesday (11/29) and Friday (12/2). Odana will be CLOSED Wednesday and Thursday due to the cold temps.
Friday will be the last day that Odana will be open for the 2022 season.
