Yahara Hills Golf Course
Conveniently located 1/2 mile east of I-90 (exit 142B), this 36-hole regulation course is spread over 400 acres of rolling hillside. Yahara Hills clubhouse, built in 1967, preceded the opening of the golf course in 1968. It is Madison's largest facility with two 18-hole championship courses and has hosted various national and state tournaments. Both 18-hole courses feature large bunkered greens, well-placed hazards and beautiful water features. A practice area, which includes a 40, 000 square foot putting green and large driving range, is suitable for major competitions and available for those who would like to sharpen their skills.

Theran Steindl Golf Operations Supervisor (East)
Theran is the Golf Operations Supervisor for City of Madison East Golf Courses: Yahara Hills and Monona. He is graduate of San Diego Golf Academy in Myrtle Beach, SC where he earned a degree in Business and Facility Management. Theran has worked in the golf business since 2004 at various location and positions. Before working with Golf Madison Parks he worked as the Head Professional at Glen Erin Golf Club and Head Professional / General Manager at Towne Country Club. Theran has been involved with extensive golf instruction from beginner to Division 1 college golfers alike and played competitively for many years. With training in instruction with Natural Golf he is able to help golfers with disabilities and special needs by utilizing their specific strengths to optimize their games. In his off time from golf he enjoys playing competitive hockey and watching his beloved Badgers.
Dan Breunig Assistant Golf Professional, Yahara Hills Golf Course
Dan has recently obtained his Masters in Sport Management from Southern New Hampshire University. He also has a History degree from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. Growing up in Sun Prairie, Dan played and took lessons at Yahara Hills throughout his junior golf career. Upon graduating from Sun Prairie High School he started working at Yahara Hills as an Assistant Golf Professional in 1997, where he worked for 13 years. After stints at Blackhawk Country Club and The Oaks Golf Course, Dan has returned to Yahara Hills. Dan serves as the Outing and Events Coordinator in 2018. Evan Stindt, PGA Associate Golf Instructor, Change Golf Instruction / Assistant Golf Professional, Yahara Hills Golf Course
Evan Stindt grew up in Oshkosh, and started playing golf regularly about the age of 10. After attending the Golf Course Management Program at South West Tech along with playing golf collegiately, Evan worked as an Assistant Professional at multiple facilities. Evan has spent the last five winters at high-end facilities including The Gallery Golf Club and Superstition Mountain Country Club working as a Player Service Assistant. In Wisconsin, Evan has recently served as the Head Golf Professional at Kestrel Ridge Golf Club for the past two seasons. Evan has been teaching for over 8 years, primarily with beginner and intermediate players with a high focus on the short game. He also offers services such as bag fitting, club re-gripping, and some club repair. When not at the golf course, Evan enjoys going to sporting events and spending time with family and friends, especially his little nephews! Evan looks forward to helping you maximize and enjoy your golf game to the fullest at Yahara Hills Golf Course in 2019!
