If you see a bicycle that appears to have been abandoned on public City property, you can report it online. Please include the bicycle's location and a description to help staff locate it.

Bicycle Donation
City of Madison Ordinance allows for donation of bicycles to charitable non-profit organizations. When abandoned bicycles are not returned to the owner or soled, the City of Madison Police Department will donate abandoned bicycles to qualified organizations.

If your bicycle has been lost or stolen, submit a self-report with the Madison Police Department as soon as possible. Providing detailed information, including the bicycle's make, model, color, and serial number (if available), can improve the chances of recovery.
