While walking through our neighborhood, I happened upon a flyer affixed to a pole near Segoe Park that said, "your help is needed," and included a drawing illustrating the proposed closing of the junction of Berwyn Drive and the median on Segoe Road.
This week the Plan Commission meeting will take place at 5:30 pm on April 8, in virtual format to discuss Accessory Dwelling Units and District 11 Town Hall: "Salt Wise and City Snow Plowing" at Sequoya Library on April 11th at 7:00 pm (Hybrid)
According to Charlie Romines, Streets Superintendent, all residential streets will be plowed today (4/3) This serves as a perfect segue to our upcoming District 11 Town Hall meeting (4/11) on snow plowing strategies and salt usage on our city streets
Residents in the Westmorland neighborhood will be receiving a mailer about how to remove spongy moth egg masses from trees. Further information about the spongy moth can be found on the city’s spongy moth page at www.cityofmadison.com/SpongyMoth
While not ideal, the city aims to optimize this location to accommodate voters and election officials. Parks management has agreed to de-winterize the bathrooms ahead of schedule. Electric heaters will be setup to maintain warmth within the shelter.
The Housing Strategy Committee meeting on March 28, at 5:00 p.m. Agenda items include amending Madison General Ordinances to allow Accessory Dwelling Units for properties with up to eight dwelling units and remove owner-occupancy requirement for ADUs
