Happy New Year, Northside residents, businesses and visitors.
My name is Jamar Gary and I have the honor of being the new captain of the North District. Captain Kelly Donahue has retired, leaving a gaping hole for me to attempt to fill. I'd like to recognize Kelly for all she has done over the course of her decorated career. Like Kelly, I am a long time northsider and I am pleased to serve the district.
As we look forward to 2024, public safety is at the forefront of the minds of all of the staff that serve the North District. I have been busy meeting with community members and familiarizing myself with current issues impacting the north side. We hope to partner with you to create a safe North District in the coming year.
