MISSION

The streets in possession of the City are primarily for the use of the public in the ordinary way. However, under proper and uniform circumstances special street use may be permitted, subject to reasonable municipal regulation and control. The Street Use Staff Commission may require the applicant or other authorized individual to attend one or more meetings of the Street Use Staff Commission and to provide any additional information which is reasonably necessary to make a fair determination as to whether a permit shall be granted. Comptroller's Office renamed Finance Department.
