Madison Arts encourages artistic activities and initiates cultural programs that integrate, support, and advance arts and culture as an essential part of life in Madison. Working closely with arts and culture organizations, Madison Arts supports the creative economy by providing grant funding, exhibition and performance opportunities, and organizing events where the public can experience a diversity of arts and culture.
 
To support a full creative life for all, The Madison Arts Commission commits to championing policies and practices of cultural equity that empower a just, inclusive, welcoming, and equitable city.
