Madison Public Library is celebrating Black History Month, an annual celebration of the achievements by African Americans and a time to honor the central role of black Americans throughout history and in the present day. We have two upcoming events highlighting Black voices:
- Wednesday, February 17, 7:00pm - Wisconsin Book Festival Presents The Rib King by Ladee Hubbard & Milk Blood Heat by Dantiel Moniz
- Tuesday, March 2, 7:00pm - Wisconsin Book Festival Presents The Sum of Us by Heather McGhee
And many additional links to events in the community and reading lists of materials.
