Ice Rink and Ski Trail Update

Ice Rinks - There are five outdoor ice rinks open today, but all rinks have some restrictions. See below. Tenney Park, Mon-Fri 2:00p.m.-9:30p.m., Sat-Sun, 11:00a.m.-9:30p.m. skate rental, concessions, warming shelter, lights. The hockey rink is open and only part of the lagoon is safe for skating. Watch for barricades. Vilas Park, Mon-Fri, 2:00p.m.-9:30p.m., Sat-Sun, 11:00a.m. - 9:30p.m., skate rental, concessions, warming shelter, lights. Only a small area of the lagoon is safe for skating, but the land hockey rink and the other small skating land rink is open for skating. Watch for barricades. Elver Park, Mon-Fri, 4:00p.m.-9:30p.m., Sat-Sun, 11:00a.m.-9:30p.m., skate and ski rental, concessions, warming shelter, lights. The hockey rink is open as well as the area for general public skating. Olbrich Park (next to Botanical Gardens), Mon-Fri, 4:00p.m.-8:45p.m., Sat-Sun, 1:00p.m.-8:45p.m., no skate rental, hockey rink is not open, but there is a warming shelter and lights. Westmorland Park, Mon-Fri, 4:00p.m.-8:45p.m., Sat-Sun, 1:00p.m.-8:45p.m., no skate rental, but there is a warming shelter and lights. Ski Trails - All ski trails have been groomed and the tracks set. Those trails are located at: Elver Park, Odana Golf Course, Monona Golf Course, Turville Woods, Owen Conservation Park, South Cherokee Marsh. Elver Park and Odana Golf Course ski skate lanes will be re-groomed early Sunday morning. Elver Lights will be on. For locations, see website.
