posted

Architects from Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle and Potter Lawson will present various design options for the new Central Library on Thursday, October 14 at 7 pm at the Madison Senior Center, 330 West Mifflin St. This is the third of four public meetings to determine a plan for the new Central Library. After the first meeting on August 5, the architectural team developed several concepts which were presented on September 28. These concepts were further refined to develop designs for Thursday's presentation. The final schematic design will be presented on Tuesday, December 7 at 7 p.m. at the Madison Senior Center (rescheduled from November 4). Each meeting offers a public opportunity for feedback on the schematic design. Architect slideshows and videorecordings of past public meetings are available on the library's web site at http://www.madisonpubliclibrary.org/central. Updated slideshows and videorecordings will be added after each public meeting.
