Madison Fire Department Recruit Academy Graduation

The City of Madison Fire Department graduated 16 new firefighters from its Recruit Academy on Friday, March 11, 2011. Family, friends and the public attended the official ceremony at the Monona Terrace. The recruits completed 22-weeks of training to obtain the following certifications - Emergency Medical Technician - Basic, State Firefighter I & II and Hazardous Materials Technician.
