Volunteer for an Intergenerational Program

CATCH Healthy Habits is an exciting and flexible service opportunity to positively impact the life of a child. This new intergenerational project unites adults (50+) in afterschool programs with Kindergarten through 5th grade students. Together they learn to make healthy choices in a fun and proven educational course. Offer your help for one hour per week, for up to 15 weeks, to enjoy nutrition and exercise activities with children, helping them develop positive lifelong habits. Make a difference in the lives of children. Training is provided to adults working in teams. Join us for a one-hour informational session on Wednesday, November 9 at 11 am, or on Thursday, November 17 at 3 pm. Sessions will be held at the Madison Senior Center, 330 West Mifflin St. Call 266-6581 for more details or email Laurie Bibo, CATCH Healthy Habits Project Coordinator at lbibo@cityofmadison.com
