Christmas and New Year's Day Information Included

The Streets Division will resume refuse and recycling collection on Monday December 24th. Crews will be working in the Monday collection districts as well as picking up material that was not collected in the Thursday and Friday's districts due to the snow storm. "Christmas Eve is normally a half day for our collection crews," recycling coordinator George Dreckmann said. "However, we are going to be staying on to complete collection in the Thursday and Friday areas." Residents in the Thursday and Friday areas are asked to help collection crews by digging their carts out if they have been buried in snow. Residents are also reminded that material needs to be out by 7 a.m. to ensure collection. Large item collection remains suspended until further notice. Residents are asked to hold large items until collection resumes or bring them to the drop off sites at 1501 W. Badger Rd or 4602 Sycamore Av. The sites are open winter hours M-F from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Christmas Day and New Year's Collection Information.
