Three Programs on Successful Aging

Celebrating 30 years serving older adults, the Madison Senior Center invites you to a series of three programs aimed at increasing baby boomers' knowledge of successful aging. Stop by the second floor of the Senior Center in the Craft Room during the Saturday Farmers' Market: Saturday, March 2nd 9:00-9:45 a.m. - Christine Beatty, Madison Senior Center Director, will explain those aging myths and provide you with lifestyle choices and strategies to enhance your health and vitality. Saturday, March 9th 9:00-9:45 a.m. - Courtney Crombie, Capitol Lakes Wellness Director, will demonstrate simple resistance training exercises for a stronger, leaner you. Saturday, March 16th 9:00-9:45 a.m. - Tim Otis, President of PLATO, will introduce the Participatory Learning and Teaching Organization and Christine Beatty will provide ways of getting involved in the community through the Madison Senior Center.
