Public Input Sought for Meadowridge Library and Meadowood Neighborhood Center
Second of three public meetings shows preliminary designs for expanded library and neighborhood center
Join staff from Meadowridge Library and the Meadowood Neighborhood Center and architects from Engberg Anderson for the second in a series of three public meetings about the planning and design of future Meadowridge Library and Community Center. Meetings are at the Meadowood Shopping Center, 5740 Raymond Road. The second meeting is Thursday, June 6 from 6:30-8:30 pm. This meeting will feature preliminary plan options for the new space based on public input from the first meeting, which was held on May 9. A final meeting will be held on Thursday, June 20, where the preferred option will be presented for public comment. The expansion of the Meadowridge Library and Meadowood Neighborhood Center offers both agencies the opportunity to increase their own spaces and provide a shared space for community programs, meetings, and computer lab. The expansion and co-location will allow the library and the neighborhood center the opportunity to develop collaborative programs that will benefit both organizations and better serve neighborhood residents.
