Share your ideas for the 2015 City Budget

After such a successful budget campaign last year, the City of Madison will continue to seek ideas and suggestions from our community for the 2015 City budget. The online Healthy and Safe Community campaign opens today.

"Last year’s input from a variety of community sources was very valuable as we crafted the 2014 budget. We chose ‘A Healthy and Safe Community’ as a theme for the 2015 budget. I am looking forward to hearing what Madison residents suggest as improvements in their neighborhoods and city wide," said Mayor Paul Soglin. "These suggestions will assist in moving forward in creating a vision and developing ideas for all city departments."

Share your ideas and vote on other ideas and then continue the conversation in person at the Central Library on Monday, June 16 at 7pm. This public meeting will be an opportunity to have an in-depth discussion with the community and city officials on the ideas generated from the Healthy and Safe Community campaign.

Visit the Budget website to learn more about our current City budget, and to get involved in the online community conversation.

Share your ideas, vote on others and spread the word!
