One Fatality, One Transported Following Rollover Crash

City of Madison firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene of a single vehicle rollover crash this evening at Stoughton Road near Hwy 30. Crews were dispatched at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The two male occupants of the vehicle were ejected. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passerby with a medical background started Cardio Cerebral Resuscitation (CCR) on the other occupant, who was later transported to UW Hospital by Medic 8 and firefighters from Engine 8 and Ladder 8.
MFD responded along with units from MPD and the State Highway Patrol. The Dane County Medical Examiner was also called to the scene.
