2015 BUS LINES CALL FOR POETRY
Metro Transit and Madison’s Poet Laureates are proud to announce the publication of this year’s selected Bus Lines Call for Poetry submissions!
Hundreds of Madisonians, ages 4 to 94, submitted their work to this year’s program and over 30 poems were chosen to be showcased. Look for the selected poems on the sides and backs of Metro buses, as well as online at mymetrobus.com/poetry. All graphics were completed by Edgewood College design students, who used the poems as inspiration.
The Bus Lines Call for Poetry is annual program sponsored by Metro Transit, the City of Madison’s Poet Laureate Program and the Madison Arts Commission, and is aimed at celebrating and showcasing the works of local poets.
Information on next year’s program will be available in the coming months.
