Women’s reproductive health is under assault like never before in states like Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri and more. Many states make no exception for rape or incest, and are trying to ban abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, when many women don't yet know they're pregnant.

This is no accident.

Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell are appointing a bank of judges who want to use these unconstitutional laws from Southern states to overturn Roe vs. Wade, and turn back the clock to a time when women died from back-alley abortions.

Abortion bans like these aren't just about controlling women's bodies. They're about controlling women's sexuality.
It is no accident that Operation Save America has called gays and lesbians “fascists”, and they claim the so-called “homosexual agenda” is all about “supremacy.”

But we know who the real extremists are. These same anti-choice crusaders burned copies of the Quran during demonstrations against Mosques.

We know who the real supremacist are. These same anti-choice crusaders who helped elect Donald Trump with the hopes of overturning Roe v. Wade, battled the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on marriage equality.

But here in the City of Madison, we are not going to let them turn back the clock on women’s rights. We are not going to let them turn back the clock on civil rights, and we are not going to allow hate in our state.
