Street Closure for Construction — Dempsey Road

Starting on Wednesday, March 13th at 7:00 a.m., R.G. Huston Company Inc. will close Dempsey Rd, from Cottage Grove Rd to Maher Ave, to replace the underground utilities and reconstruct the roadway.
This section of Dempsey Rd will remain closed to thru traffic for the duration of the project, with local access maintained for residents in the area.
Bicyclists will need to use the Lake Loop Bike Route Detour to avoid Dempsey Rd during the entire project.
Metro routes will detour from Dempsey Rd and Davies St.
The closure is expected to last through project completion in early August.
