Event Description

This six-week hands-on program helps people and their families prepare for the many challenges of having a progressive disorder. You will learn how to better communicate with your medical care-team concerning treatment options, discern your personal values, and prioritize what matters most. We will use exercises proven to encourage personal empowerment and wellbeing when dealing with serious illness. This includes life review, meditation, values discernment, and advance care planning. We will also help you build a support network and plan for the future. Class will meet on November 23 instead of November 26 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
