Environmental Stewardship Volunteer Opportunity for UW Students

Be a Greenway Volunteer!
City Engineering is working with the University of Wisconsin Summer WE Badger Volunteers program and is looking for greenway volunteers to identify and remove invasive species from our greenways throughout the city this summer. The work is labor-intensive and involves physically removing weeds on uneven ground. Removal of invasive species from our greenways allows native plants to thrive, providing pockets of natural habitat within an otherwise urban environment.
