Mayor Soglin on Racial Justice Panel for Birmingham Empowerment Week

Earlier today Mayor Soglin participated in a U.S. Conference of Mayors panel to discuss economic justice with nine other mayors at the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL. The panel was in conjunction with Empowerment Week, commemorating Birmingham's pivotal involvement in the civil rights movement of 1963 and the 50th anniversary of the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church.
