Statement of Madison Mayor Paul Soglin on Weekend Vandalism and Graffiti on Madison's West Side

In the City of Madison, we have no tolerance for the recent racist and anti-Semitic property damage to homes on Madison’s west side. We will not accept this reprehensible behavior. This action is being rightfully condemned and thoroughly investigated.
It is however, a striking reminder that as good neighbors we need to be ever vigilant and report suspicious activity in neighborhoods, schools and at work. It is up to all of us to make Madison a welcoming place to live, work, play and raise a family.
