Madison Public Library and Madison Senior Center Host Reception to Launch Intergenerational Photo & Story Exhibit

Madison, WI – Members of the public are invited to celebrate the launch of Madison Public Library and Madison Senior Center’s first-ever joint intergenerational photo exhibit on Friday, December 1 from 5:00-6:30pm at the Senior Center and 6:30-8:00pm at Central Library.

Earlier this year, the Library and the Senior Center teamed up with local photographer and Bubbler Artist-in-Residence Jennifer Bastian and local author Pam Phillips Olson to capture pictures and stories of multigenerational relationships. Families, friends, co-workers, and neighbors participated with only one rule: at least one person in the photo had to be 55 years of age or older.

The photos and accompanying stories that came out of these sessions will be on display throughout the month of December at both the Central Library and Madison Senior Center.

An open reception will launch the exhibit on Friday, December 1 from 5:00-6:30pm at the Madison Senior Center and 6:30-8:00pm at Central Library. The public is invited to enjoy refreshments while they explore these captivating photographs and stories.
