Council Executive Committee Will Meet on May 17th to Recommend Interim Alder
Council President Keith Furman received six (6) resumes to fill the upcoming Alder District 3 vacancy by the 4:30pm deadline on May 11, 2022.
The following individuals will be invited to participate in the interview process to serve District 3 until April 18, 2023. They are all residents of District 3:
- Robert Beets
- Andy Kraiss
- Katy Mijal
- Erik Paulson
- Rhonda Smillie
- Matthew E.D. Van Eperen
The Common Council Executive Committee (CCEC) will hold a special meeting at 6 pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, to interview the applicants and make a recommendation to the Common Council. At the conclusion of the Tuesday, May 24, Common Council meeting, the Common Council will appoint the interim District 3 Alderperson to begin serving immediately until a new alder is elected and sworn in on April 18, 2023.
