In 2006, the City of Madison and the Town of Blooming Grove finalized a cooperative plan where the Town would be absorbed by the City in three phases over 21 years. The final phase of this annexation will take place in the fall of 2027. This website is a resource for Town of Blooming Grove residents to learn about the upcoming changes.

Timeline

  1. Process Begins

    The State approves the City of Madison and Town of Blooming Grove Cooperative Plan.

  2. Phase One

    The City of Madison attaches the North Phased Attachment area from the Town of Blooming Grove.

     


     

  3. Phase Two

    The City of Madison attaches the South Phased Attachment area from the Town of Blooming Grove.

     


     

  4. Phase Three

    The City of Madison attaches the Final Attachment area from the Town of Blooming Grove.
