Our Traffic & Specialized Services Lieutenant is responsible for the supervision of the Madison Police Department's Traffic Unit, comprised of the Traffic Enforcement Safety Team (TEST) and Traffic Specialists, as well as MPD's Traffic & Special Events Officer. Our Lieutenant works in partnership with the Dane County Sheriff's Office in the management and coordination of various traffic safety grants awarded by the WI Department of Transportation. Our Traffic & Specialized Services Lieutenant is MPD's representative to the Traffic Commission and to the Street Use Staff Commission.
