What’s Happening in the Neighborhood – West District

As temps cool and we turn the corner from a busy summer into fall, there’s a lot going on in the West District Neighborhoods. Please join West PD at the following upcoming community events:

• October 14, 5:30pm  – Huegel Elementary Bike Event at 2601 Prairie Rd
• October 24, 3:30pm – ADU ribbon cutting event at 6601 Jacobs Way to celebrate the completion of the first sanctioned accessory dwelling unit in Madison
• October 25, 1:00pm – Trunk or Treat Event at Good Shepherd Church (5701 Raymond Rd)
• October 30, 4:00pm – Trunk or Treat Event at 7933 Tree Lane

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2025 West Fest. West Fest at Elver Park on September 20th was a resounding success, showcasing community spirit and collaboration by West PD, local leaders, businesses, and dedicated volunteers. The event brought together residents for a day filled with fun, engagement, and valuable resources. Special Thanks to Alder Barbara Harrington-McKinney for her continued support and leadership in making this event a huge success each year!
