Golf Program Policies

Golf Madison Parks mission is to provide an exceptional system of safe, accessible, well-planned and maintained golf courses, provide affordable opportunities for recreational and educational experiences, preserve and expand our urban forest resources through a well-planned and systematic approach to tree maintenance, planting and natural area management, provide opportunities for cultural interaction by fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all and to preserve and promote the golf courses historic legacy now and well into the future.

Guidelines and Standards

Approved by the Board of Park Commissioners in January 2026, using input and recommendations from our customers, these guidelines and standards are designed to enhance your enjoyment of our courses and to be a resource for the golfer providing information about the rules and regulations for using the City of Madison golf courses.

No Show & Cancelation Policy

A credit card is required to reserve any tee time - public and pass holders. Tee time changes or cancellations must be made at least 6 hours in advance to avoid a fee. Cancellations made between 6 and 2 hours before the reservation may be charged for full reservation and refunded via gift card. Cancellations within 2 hours of the tee time and all no-shows may be charged the full green fee for each absent golfer.

For Season Passholders Only

  • Less than 2 hours cancellation or no-show: Subject to a $10 Booking Fee per tee time.
  • If booking for others who are not passholders: The passholder is responsible for full green fees of any absent non-passholder at the rack rate.

Code of Conduct

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure that the City of Madison Golf Courses are safe, welcoming and available to all potential users to enjoy for their intended use, and to provide City employees with additional tools and protection against negative behavior occurring at the facilities.
