Midtown District Attends Shop with a Cop Event

The 100 Black Men of Madison proudly served as the lead sponsor and primary contributor of the third annual “Shop With A Cop” event held on Saturday, December 13th at Super Walmart on Nakoosa Road. Through their continued commitment to service, the organization brought together partners from the Madison Metropolitan School District, the Madison Police Department and Black Officers Coalition, and the Dane County Sheriff’s Office to support local families during the holiday season.

Thanks to this collective effort, officers had the opportunity to build trust and meaningful relationships while shopping alongside approximately 19 families, creating positive memories and strengthening community connections.  Special thanks to Walmart and the 100 Black Men of Madison, for their generous donations, support, and time, which helped make this event possible. The success of this event reflects strong partnerships with the community and MPD’s ongoing mission to build trust with those we serve.
