The American Family Insurance Championship (PGA Champions Tour Golf Tournament) begins today at TPC Wisconsin (1659 Players Drive), formerly Cherokee Country Club. The opening ceremonies begin at 8:20 AM on 6/6/25. MPD officers will be assisting with traffic flow at several intersections during tournament play.
Traffic posts near the golf course are located at Hwy CV and Wheeler Rd., Wheeler Rd. and N. Sherman Ave., and Wheeler Rd. and Comanche Way.
A shuttle service to the event is operating from Madison College. There will be MPD officers at that location to maintain traffic flow as well. Please expect an increase in traffic volume and have a great weekend!
