Building Inspection is open to the public by appointment only.

Schedule a Counter Appointment

The Zoning Review counter is open by appointment only. Walk-in services are not available. The counter is closed the first Friday of every month to allow time for staff to complete permit and site plan reviews.

Face coverings are welcome but not required. Employees will have masks on hand.

Booking An Appointment

Use the scheduling tool below to book an appointment with the plan review counter. If your project needs both plan review and zoning review, you need two appointments. Make sure to also schedule an appointment with the Building Plan Review Counter.

  • Appointments are 20 minutes long. If you need more time, contact BI at (608) 266-4551 before booking.

  • Be on time. We will not honor late appointments.

  • Come to your appointment with completed paperwork. Review the submittal checklists to make sure you bring everything you need
