Background

The City of Madison and Town of Blooming Grove agreed to a Cooperative plan in 2006 to plan for the eventual dissolution of the Town and its attachment to the City. This plan was separated into three phases: The North Phased Attachment, South Phased Attachment, and Final Attachment.

The North Phased attachment took place on Dec. 28, 2015, The South Phased Attachment on Dec. 28, 2020, and the Final Attachment will occur on Oct. 31, 2027.
