Budget Engagement Events

The Office of the Common Council is holding five regional public engagement events in Madison. These events will allow alders to educate their constituents on the state of the budget and where their tax dollars go and provide a forum for feedback on what constituents care about. All are welcome!

  • Eastside Budget Engagement Event 
    • Wednesday, May 1, 2024, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
    • John F. Kennedy Elementary School, 221 Meadowlark Dr. Madison, WI 53714
    • Residents can register using the following link: www.cityofmadison.com/budgetengagement-eastside. Advance registration is strongly encouraged.
  • Westside Budget Engagement Event (Westside Community Connections) 
    • Thursday, May 16, 2024, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM 
    • Vel Phillips Memorial High School, 201 S Gammon Rd, Madison, WI 53717

  • Southside/Near Westside Budget Engagement Event 
  • Central (Downtown/Campus/Isthmus) Budget Engagement Event 
    • Thursday, May 30, 2024, 6:00 PM (hybrid-virtual participation available) 
    • Madison Municipal Building, 215 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Madison, WI 53703, Conf Rm MMB 215
