
Rental Assistance Notice - Please Share
postedAttention City of Madison residents seeking rental assistance!!
The City is excited to partner with African Center for Community Development, Community Action Coalition for South Central Wisconsin, Meadowood Health Partnerships, Nehemiah Community Development Corp/FOSTER of Dane County and Tenant Resource Center for Dane CORE 2.0!
Applicants who have pending application in Dane CORE do NOT need to apply again. Your application is being transferred to a new system and you will soon receive notification for a new log-in.
Dane CORE 2.0- Program Changes
The program has expanded to cover additional housing cost. Eligible households can apply for rental arrears as well as the following financial assistance:
- Past due housing utilities (i.e. water, gas, electric)- telephone and cable not included
- Internet Services (If bundled with telephone and cable a portion of the bill will be covered).
- Security Deposits and Future Rent Payments may be available if any of the following are true:
- You have an eviction notice, or are at immediate risk of eviction.
- Your household is Extremely Low-Income (less than 30% Area Median Income).
- You are currently getting Unemployment Insurance benefit payments.
- You have a notice of non-renewal at your current home.

- Tuesday and Friday: 6:30 am – 5:00 pm.
- Español: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- All residents with an Eviction Court date: Contact Tenant Resource Center, 608-257-0006 x7
Internet and computer access is available through Madison Public Library.
