Notice from Parks:

Please be advised that Madison Parks volunteers will be burning brush piles today at:

Apple Ridge Park 

4017 Cosgrove Road, Madison

Personnel will be on site between 9 AM and 4 PM. 

Si Widstrand is the onsite contact and can be reached at 608-628-5281.

Dane County 911 Dispatch will be notified before burning begins.

This work is being done to dispose of invasive, non-native shrubs that have been cut to restore the oak woodland at these sites, and allow native plants to flourish.
