postedFree Tax Filing at Meadowridge (Appointment Required)
Free assistance from AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers to help you fill out and file your Federal and Wisconsin personal income taxes. Call 608-288-6160 no earlier than January 24, 2024, to make an appointment (required).
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides in-person and virtual tax assistance free of charge with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low-to-moderate income. Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and IRS-certified every year.
Some situations are outside the scope of the service -- see what type of taxes they can prepare(link is external) or ask if in doubt.
All Meadowridge Library tax appointments will be on WEDNESDAYS: 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27, 4/3, & 4/10.
Library staff will begin making appointments on January 24 at 10 am.Appointments must be made in person or by phone. (We cannot honor requests left in voice messages, so please call again if you reach voicemail instead of a staff member.)

2024 Wanda Fullmore Youth Internship Program
The 2024 Wanda Fullmore Youth Internship Program is a 8-week internship provides Madison youth with the space to build valuable connections, learn about the City of Madison, and gain crucial professional development skills, all with supportive mentorship. Interns will work, on average, 16 hours per week and wages start at $15.50/hour for this internship opportunity. For more information, please visit Common Wealth’s website.
