District 13 Updates

Hi Everyone.

A couple of brief non-Covid items:

A virtual Public Information Meeting regarding the new Cedar St and other road projects in the Wingra Triangle will be taking place at 6 PM today.  Those of you who received the notice and registered, don't forget that it starts at 6 PM this evening.

The City is planning a 2021 and 2022 project to construct Cedar Street from Fish Hatchery Road to South Park Street. The City is also planning to reconstruct South Street, High Street, and resurface a portion of West Wingra Drive (Fish Hatchery Road to South Street).

Second, forestry crews will soon begin pruning operations in the areas highlighted in orange below.  Our work plan focuses on pruning small/newly planted trees (trees we can prune without aerial towers).  Some useful information regarding our tree pruning operations can be found here.
