District 13 Updates: Donate Blood, Lucky's 1313, Asking For Help

Hi Everyone

Blood supplies are very low.  There is an opportunity for you to help out next Wednesday, August 12, at the ARBORETUM COHOUSING BLOOD DRIVE being held at Beth Israel Center, 1406 Mound Street, from 12 noon to 5 PM. 

In addition to the benefit of donating blood, which is always a good thing, the Red Cross will be doing free COVID-19 Antibody Blood Testing.

In other news, Lucky's 1313 Brew Pub has submitted plans for to add housing behind and above their current site at 1313 Regent St.  An early neighborhood meeting has been held with residents of Vilas and Greenbush, and more resident input will be sought throughout the approval process.
