McGrath Project, Water Stewardship, Juneteenth and more
postedGreetings friends and neighbors,
Here are this week's updates:
McGrath Project at 222-232 E. Olin Ave
The Plan Commission will meet at 5:30 today, June 13, to discuss items related to the 12-story mixed-use project proposed by McGrath Property Group at 222-232 E. Olin Avenue. This project represents a significant compromise from the project as it was originally proposed at 18 stories, plans which also involved the demolition of the Wonder Bar. Meeting details are available here.
For information about additional City meetings scheduled for this week, please consult the City Meeting schedule.

Lastly...
Tooday is my birthday, a time of relection about my life so far. I've spent over half of it in Madison. Who knew when I moved here for grad school in July of 1988 that so much would happen. I'm grateful for all of it, for what I've learned, how I've grown, and for the many relationships I've formed in this place I now call home.
We have much work to do to as a community to address the challenges that many in our city face. It's a collaborative effort and I encourage you all to get involved.
Thanks to each of you for your continued support and encouragement.
Take care and stay safe,
