Common Council, Ice Cream Social, LENA Summer Picnic - D15 Update 8/3/19
postedBuckeye Road Oak Tree
As I mentioned earlier, Engineering has been working on a solution to save the large oak tree on Buckeye Road. Earlier plans called considered installed a concrete pile wall, but revised plans will use a block wall as was shared at the last public meeting. I'm very appreciative for all the work that has gone into this and know the neighborhood very much appreciates the extra effort needed to save this tree.
Task Force on Municipal Golf
The resolution forming this task force was passed by the Common Council on June 18th, but unfortunately the members have still not been appointed. I have reached out to the mayor and asked that these appointments be made so that the task force can begin its work.
Dogs in Parks
The final public input meeting was held at Sennett MS last week. There is still time to share your opinions via the online survey.
