Process for appointing a new District 19 Alder

The Council President is now accepting applications to fill the remainder of my term until the April election. Complete details are available at this link. The timeline is:

• Applications due 7/17, 4:30 PM
• Executive Committee interviews 7/23, 6:30 PM
• Council vote 8/7, 6:30 PM

The person appointed will immediately take office upon the Council vote.
