Spongy Moths, West Area Plan, and Farmers' Market Updates

posted

I know how much so many of you value our trees! The City needs your help addressing the spongy moth outbreak affecting many trees and shrub species right now. Read more about what you can do here.

In my last blog post, I provided some meeting dates for participating in the West Area Plan process. The community survey to inform the West Area Plan is back open and we need your input. It is critical that this planning process is informed by as many people as possible. Check out the web page for the West Area Plan, read the summary of the input provided by residents so far, and take the time to complete the survey (link provided on that page), if you haven't already.

Also, with Art Fair on the Square this weekend, please note that the Dane County Farmer’s Market will relocate to Breese Stevens Field (917 E Mifflin St.) this Saturday, July 8, and will have slightly different hours (7 am – noon).

Have a great rest of the week!
