Visit the Madison Night Market and Meet Common Council Members

posted

The Madison Night Market has become a summer tradition. Held on select Thursday evenings from 5 to 9 pm, you can visit State Street retailers, hear music, and sample the cuisine at special visiting food carts and pop-up restaurants. Get more details at the Madison Night Market website.

The Night Market opens on State Street and Gilman Street and, new this year, includes N. Carroll and W. Gilman at Capitol Square. The next Night Market is tomorrow evening, Thursday, June 13. The weather forecast is for a beautiful warm summer Madison evening with minimal rain chance, so come on down.

AND

This year, alders and common council staff will have a booth in the 100 block of State Street.

Meet a real live alder, share your dreams for Madison, ask questions, and learn how you can become involved in local government. Tomorrow, Alders Bennett (District 2), Field (District 3), Govindarajan (District 8), and I (District 19) will be at the booth in overlapping schedules as well as staff members Lorissa Banuelos and Hannah Matthews.

We hope to see you.
